INFORMATION
Due
to the fact that we both have mostly unconventional gift
desires, we have put together a few registry options. In
a few local shops in Portland and Providence, we have set
up wish lists and small registries. Online, we have opted
to use an independent page to host our “gift
registry”.
This way we can specify gifts at local and independently-owned
shops.

REGISTRY
Our
page on
MyRegistry.com acts as both a list of gifts that we would
like to receive,
as well as a checklist for gift-givers. Click
here to go
straight to our site. Or you can search for our registry
at the main page and use the password “pippi” to
access our page. When you arrive at our MyRegistry.com
page, please
do the following:

After
reviewing the welcome page, click on the tab
that says “Gift
List”. This will take you to our gift registry.

The
gifts are spread over several pages. While the
system organizes them from least expensive to most
expensive, this
is really not a good indication of what things
cost. We recommend that you click on the “gifts per
page” drop-down
menu on the far right and select “All” to
see everything on a single web page.

Certain
large ticket items or funds (e.g. Angela Adams rug) have
prices listed
as $100 or $50 and spread over
25 units.
This is arranged this way because the overall cost
of the gift is
great. If you wish to contribute to these gifts, the
link will direct you to buy a gift certificate. You
can buy a gift certificate
in any denomination, large or small.

Most
items are directly linked to a 3rd party vendor site. When
you click
on the item and follow the link
to the third
party site, be sure to have our address handy, as
these vendors will
not have any of our information.

Gifts
that are marked as “Offline” do not
have online purchasing. You can contact the
store directly by phone
or in person.

When
you see a gift you’d like
to purchase, click on the “buy gift” button.
You will be taken to another page on MyRegistry.com
that asks for your name
and email. Once
you input this information, click on “go
to the store’s
website and buy gift”. This will take you
directly to the item page on the third party
vendor’s
site.

From
there, just follow the instructions to purchase
an item on the third party vendor
site.
Once you
have finished
either
looking at a gift or purchasing one
on the third party site, there will be another page open
from
MyRegistry.com
that says
in big red letters, “Did you buy this
gift?” Please
answer accordingly so that the registry
will be updated as to your gift and
current for
other users.

the event that there is a problem purchasing
a gift or a problem with the links
provided by MyRegistry.com, please
notify us immediately of the difficulty
and we will resolve
it as soon
